This temple is the abode of Sri Bheemeshwara swamy and Maanikyaamba. This temple is a two storey construction and Bheemeshwara lingam is very tall that it starts in the ground floor and goes till second floor. Maanikyaamba temple which is part of the same temple complex is one of the ashtadasa shakti peethams.This temple is very old and is currently under archeological survey of India.
